Google will change its login screen, and that has a risk
The Google login screen is possibly one of the situations that you have lived the most in your life, and that is why the design change that is coming will mark you for a long time.
Google is reporting that as of June 14, the Google sign-in screen , where we usually enter our email and password, will change. While it may seem like a simple change, this can encourage cybercriminals around the world to try to trick you into getting your username and password using the old login or similar design.
The new design of the Google login screen includes a series of changes that are more pleasing to the eye, but that could cause some surprise in a few days when you directly face the change.
The current screen of the Google login shows us the logo and justified text on the left, but the new home screen carries both the text and the logo to the center . Also, as you can see in the image that accompanies the news, where before we entered the email, the phone and the password, now it comes under a totally closed box.
And why is this a risk? As you know, phishing is one of the most common deceptions that are made on the Internet, and in which thousands of people fall daily. It is about using social engineering to trick the user into believing that he is providing his password and user to an official site, when this is not the case. In this way, in view of this change, cyber criminals could cheat you using the old login design that does not seem at all strange, to make you believe that you are accessing the Google suite.
