Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 710
Qualcomm introduced a new series of chips – Snapdragon 700 – back in February, and already the first processor of the line seeks to go on sale. Today Qualcomm announced Snapdragon 710, revealing its features.
The new mobile platform is built using a 10-nm process technology and uses Kryo 360 cores. The chipset brings the AR Engine multi-core engine, as well as the ISP Spectra 250, which can perform multi-frame noise reduction in images. The new ISP will also use artificial intelligence to analyze the depth of sounding for portraits, creating the Bokeh effect.
The Snapdragon 710 processor promises a 40% reduction in power consumption compared to the Snapdragon 660, as well as the QuickCharge 4+ quick charge technology, which allows you to charge your smartphone 50% in 15 minutes.
The new X15 LTE modem provides download speeds of up to 800 Mbps. Support for 4×4 MIMO antennas ensures fast and stable connection.
Qualcomm’s partners have already accessed the new Snapdragon 710 and the first smartphone that will use the performance of the mobile platform will appear in the second quarter of this year. It remains only to wait for the first leaks with the participation of the device based on Snapdragon 710.
